Louis Vuitton Launching a Luxury Travel App
For the past 15 years, the style juggernut has been putting together City Guides for its globetrotting clientele. With digital taking over the world, the fashion house is not set to convert those guides into a spanking new iPhone app.
Users can now download app variants to each of the 25 cities featured in the 161-year-old Parisian fashion house’s guidebook, including Beijing, Istanbul and Los Angeles. The travel guides will also introduce four new cities to the list: Bangkok, Chicago, Prague and Rome.
Similar to the books, the apps will be a comprehensive travel guide of hotels to stay at, restaurants to try, cultural districts to check out and nightlife spots to revel in. Don’t worry about the data charges, these apps are accessible offline. For a more in-dept experience, each app features a guest contributor to share personal experiences and recommendations in the city.
