London’s most celebrated rooftop unveils #AprèsWithAView, a spectacular Alpine Après-Ski pop-up for the winter season
ME London Hotel unveiled a spectacular winter experience on the terrace at Radio Rooftop Bar: #AprèsWithAView. From rooftops to mountain tops, you will be given the chance to experience the ultimate alpine atmosphere in the heart of London, from the heights of one of Radio’s private cable cars.
As part of the experience, you’ll enjoy seasonal cocktails, champagne and dishes from a comforting, alpine-inspired menu that will give those enjoying it the feeling of being transported straight to the slopes of Courchevel. Renowned for its impressive backdrop, Radio overlooks London’s breath-taking skyline, with panoramic views of iconic landmarks, such as Somerset House, The Shard, the London Eye, Big Ben and St Paul’s Cathedral.
When booking #AprèsWithAView you will be handed your lift pass on arrival at ME London, before ascending to Radio. You will then be led to one of three luxuriously furnished cable cars designed to encourage alpine escapism from the chaos of the city below. Once there, you’ll be able to soak up the playful atmosphere that Radio is notorious for. From the privacy of a cable car enjoy winter cocktails such as spiced rum eggnog served in chocolate cups, sip champagne from a magnum of Veuve Clicquot, and indulge on truffle cheese fondue and charcuterie.
DJs, candles, faux fur throws and table service directly to the cable cars means that every whim you’ll be catered to, allowing to fully immerse in the cosy winter experience. #AprèsWithAView is set to become the ultimate event for Londoners wanting to settle into the winter season in style; perfect for a group of friends, colleagues or even to impress a date with an intimate and romantic night.
The exclusive cable cars are available to book for groups of up to ten guests, for a total price of £650. This includes a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka with mixers, a magnum of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, as well as large sharing platters of seasonal offerings such as truffle three-cheese fondue, charcuterie and tartiflette dumplings, followed by speculos biscuits with hazelnut mousse and an indulgent Valrhona chocolate fondue.
